Javier Díaz, president of AVEBIOM
Germany is the guest country with 48 exhibitors at the Renewable Gas Fair. Europe's leading renewable energy country has shown its commitment to renewable gases as a key player in contributing to Europe's energy transition. A major advantage of using biogas for flexible electricity generation is that this technology makes it possible to balance production and consumption on the electricity grid in a context of volatility in wind and solar energy.
Valerie Möhring, Deputy Head of Economic Affairs at the German Embassy in Madrid.
The renewable gas sector confirms its good momentum and faces new challenges
For the sector to become firmly established in Spain, it will require joint work by companies and public administration to ensure excellence in the facilities and active dissemination of their positive impact on our society.
“Renewable gases are more than just a source of energy, they help manage and recover waste and create local employment. They are good, necessary and a clear commitment to a cleaner and more sustainable future.”
Luis Puchades, president of AEBIG
