Registration for the 17th International Bioenergy Congress is now open, with reduced rates until September 13. The congressman's pass includes access to all conferences, documentation, recordings, B2B area, meals, coffees and more parallel activities, including professional entry to the 4th Renewable Gas Show. Additionally, AVEBIOM and AEBIG members can benefit from a 50% discount.
La seventeenth edition of the International Bioenergy Congress will bring together on October 1 and 2, at Feria de Valladolid, experts, researchers and professionals from the energy sector to discuss the opportunities and challenges that renewable gases face in the transition towards a sustainable economy that is less dependent on fossil fuels. The production of biogas and biomethane will be one of the key topics due to its unquestionable potential to decarbonize the demand for thermal energy in Spain.
Preview of presentations from the congress sponsors
Among the confirmed speakers, we present some belonging to the companies that sponsor the congress and the 4th Renewable Gas Show, which is being held in parallel.
Thus, Antonio Alonso, of Bondalti Water, will talk about the benefits and positive impacts of biodigestion in different industries. Ana Castelblanque Cepsa and Buenaventura Gómez of Prezero, will focus their presentation on the synergies of biomethane with the circular economy; while Josep Burjons, from Catalan Biogas, will address the issue of integrating biomethane production in the territory, and how to adapt projects to the local reality.
For his part, Nicolás Bruyas, from Prodeval, will explain how CO2 liquefaction contributes to more efficient and sustainable biomethane production. Vicente Gramuntell and Ignacio Cabané, from nedgia, will discuss the opportunities and challenges of injecting renewable gases into gas networks. Pilar Icaran, from nortegas, will present the company's milestones to promote the country's energy transition.
Other sponsors of the conference are Bio Dynamics, Iberian Bioenergy, Cycle_0, Engie y Ence Biogas.
The complete conference program will be available shortly
The congress will have four round tables and nine technical presentation tables, in which more than 60 high-level speakers will share experiences, exploring emerging technologies and discussing best practices for the implementation of bioenergy projects in Spain, America and Europe.
Javier Diaz, president of AVEBIOM, assures that
«The International Bioenergy Congress 2024 will be the largest platform for professionals to share knowledge and experiences that promote the production and use of renewable gases. An opportunity to accelerate the defossilization of our economy and move towards greater energy independence from Spain."
Luis Puchades, president of AEBIG, points out that
“Collaboration and the exchange of experiences at the congress are essential so that we can make the most of the potential of renewable gases. "We have the technology and resources necessary to carry out projects that make a significant difference in the country's energy sustainability."
