We are at a key moment to accelerate the start-up of biogas and biomethane production plants in Spain. From the national biomass and biogas associations -AVEBIOM and AEBIG-, organizers of the 16th International Bioenergy Congress, we encourage all agents who work for the development of the sector to present their presentation proposals until May 31.
The production of biogas and biomethane in Spain now has an ideal social, environmental and geopolitical framework for its definitive deployment and to follow the path of success that other countries began to follow a few years ago.. The change of trend in our country It is based on the great will, resources, technology and financing that the agents in the sector have to launch a large number of successful short-term projects.
The papers selected for the 16th International Bioenergy Congress will address in an objective and detailed manner all the technical and market aspects that interest and concern investors, engineers, waste managers, consultancies or public administrations when proposing a new biogas or biomethane project.
The production of biomethane must gain inertia since it is necessary for Spain to decarbonize the demand for thermal energy, which is double that of electricity, and increase its energy independence. It is a key moment to make decisions and accelerate the start-up of new plants: the business opportunity for the production of biogas and biomethane is real.
