La Spanish Association of Biomass, organizer of the 18th International Congress on Bioenergy 2025, together with its technological partner, the Spanish Biogas Association, invites researchers, academics and professionals to submit their applications for presentations at the next edition of the conference.
The application period is open until May 16, 2025
This year, under the motto "Biomethane and other renewable gases: The path to a sustainable and competitive economy" The conference will focus on the transformative potential of these energy vectors.
The program will highlight how biomethane and other renewable gases are already helping to boost the competitiveness of businesses and industries, strengthen energy security in an unstable global context, and decarbonize production processes and sectors that are difficult to electrify.
In addition, specific application cases in different territories will be presented, and how to accelerate their integration into the national energy mix will be discussed.
How to apply for the 18th International Bioenergy Congress?
Proposals for papers are submitted through the digital form available on the conference website., until May 16, 2025.
Proposals that provide will be especially valued outstanding experiences and applied knowledge. Priority will be given to papers presented by Success stories in the production, injection or use of biomethane, and innovative projects and technological solutionsthat are paving new paths in the sector.
Special importance will also be given to the applied research —whether of a technical, economic or social nature— and Analysis of public policies, regulatory frameworks and territorial deployment strategies that facilitate the effective implementation of renewable gases.
