The company HRS Heat Exchangers, which has been designing thermal transfer products and systems in numerous sectors for more than 40 years, has announced obtaining the largest order for heat exchanger components in its history, valued at 3,382 million euros.
As reported by the company in a press release, the heat exchangers will be destined for an important environmental project for a customer in North America, with delivery scheduled for the end of 2024. The order includes a combination of 6 heat exchanger modules and 10 meters in length, adding a total of 384 units and approximately 10 kilometers of pipes. These exchangers will also incorporate the efficient corrugated tube technology for which HRS is recognized in the sector.
The units will be designed and manufactured at the HRS Heat Exchangers facility in Murcia, Spain. Once completed, the 126 tons of equipment will be transported in 18 containers to their final destination. This system of exchangers will allow heating, cooling and heat recovery operations to be carried out, as an integral part of a renewable energy project.
Matt Hale, International Director of Sales and Marketing at HRS Heat Exchangers, expressed his delight at this achievement. “This order recognizes the teamwork that characterizes HRS's international business model, from the sales and engineering office in North America to the engineers and draftsmen at our base in Spain. Everyone has worked hard to come up with a solution that meets the client's demanding brief. This order, which follows the manufacturing of our largest evaporator last year, underscores our continued global growth.”
The success of this project reinforces HRS Heat Exchangers' position as a leader in its sector, highlighting its ability to develop innovative and efficient solutions in the field of thermal transfer worldwide.
HRS Heat Exchangers will display their products at the 4th Renewable Gas Show, on October 1 and 2, Valladolid Fair.
