The Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) has developed the BIOGEMIS tool that allows you to easily calculate greenhouse gas emissions from the production and use of biogas, in accordance with the methodology established in the Renewable Energy Directive. , REDIII.
The calculator is designed to help meet legal requirements and understand the emissions reductions that can be achieved in biogas value chain processes.
The tool contemplates all the possible uses of biogas and biomethane, a wide set of raw materials used for the production of biogas and the most commonly used process and purification systems.
The use of the tool is free and you only need to register to use it. The calculator is in testing, but now available on the IDAE website: BIOGEMIS | Idae
