Vogelsang's Debris Lift Unit (DLU) is a waste lifting unit that allows for the efficient disposal of foreign bodies present in the organic matter destined to feed the biogas plant. It is the latest development from the German engineering company Vogelsang to achieve increasingly efficient and automated plant work.
It is a complement to the Vogelsang PreMix solids feeder, which integrates a pump and macerator in the same equipment. The DLU is located immediately after the DRS Waste Removal System. Foreign materials removed by DRS during operation are dumped fully automatically by the DLU into a collection container. Thus, with a tipping height greater than 1 m, large volume containers can be used that only need to be emptied occasionally. The entire process is controlled automatically. Does not require supervision. Thanks to DLU, the handling of foreign bodies becomes more hygienic and the periodic extraction of small quantities of these is no longer necessary.
A key advantage is that it automatically transports foreign bodies discharged by the DRS waste removal system to a collection container. Periodic manual removal of small quantities is not necessary. It can be combined with a wide variety of collection containers. Easy and quick to install and provide feedback.
The DLU is a Vogelsang device that can be used in any biogas plant that wants to optimize its operation.
