MITECO publishes a map of the projects financed with the Recovery Plan

The Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has published a map that reflects the execution of funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) carried out directly by the ministry and the organizations that depend on it, such as the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving, the Biodiversity Foundation, the Autonomous Organization of National Parks, the Hydrographic Confederations and the Just Transition Institute.

This map allows you to review the deployment of the investments made to date in each of the territories, at the same time offering a global vision of the distribution of the funds executed and how the fulfillment of the milestones and objectives is being carried out. the different areas of action under the responsibility of MITECO.

  • Users can consult the funds deployed directly by the Ministry and its dependent organizations in the territory
  • In total, the Ministry has a budget of 23.286 million, of which 5.444 million correspond to the current year.
  • MITECO is responsible for meeting 20% ​​of the milestones and objectives set by the Recovery Plan and its Addendum.

This new web portal seeks to offer as much information as possible on the evolution of the execution of PRTR funds in a clear and transparent manner. To this end, two maps have been prepared: the first registers the projects financed directly by MITECO and the organizations linked to it; in the second, the funds that have been transferred to the communities so that they are the ones who ultimately manage them.

On the first map, citizens will be able to access the information, which is broken down at the municipal level, by clicking on each of the points on the map, where they will be offered the following data:

  • Total amount of the file financed from the European funds of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.
  • Area of ​​action –Energy efficiency, Renewable energies, Water resources and coastline, Mobility, Ecosystems and biodiversity, Just transition, Renewable hydrogen, Storage and networks, and Waste management and Circular Economy– and particular theme within this area of ​​action: Geothermal energy , Digital transition, Biogas, etc.
  • Coordinates of the location of the investment and the municipality. Furthermore, to facilitate consultation, this tool allows the user to filter investments by area and by theme.
