A strategic agreement for expansion in Spain, Portugal and Andorra
In January, Carles Gómez, CEO of Promak, and Thomas Dreisbach, Sales Manager of agriKomp, signed a strategic agreement for Promak to represent the German company in Spain, Portugal and Andorra. With more than 1.000 biogas plants worldwide, agriKomp offers innovative turnkey plant solutions, supporting the production of green energy using biomethane, electricity and heat. Founded in 2000 in Weidenbach (Bavaria), agriKomp has developed key technologies such as Paddelgigant, Biolene and Vielfrass.
Flexible and advanced biogas technology
AgriKomp offers various technological solutions for generating energy from biogas. Among them, agriSelect stands out, a compact plant with a capacity of between 55 and 265 kWel, which can be built in just a few weeks and adapted to different configurations. Its standardized design allows the addition of components such as the FormProtect system and Paddelgigant agitators. In addition, it can operate with 100% liquid slurry or agricultural waste thanks to its Vielfrass feeding system.
For larger installations, agriKomp has Indi Plant, which allows customised plants to be configured with standardised technology, ensuring high reliability and ease of maintenance. These plants can reach capacities from 75 kW to 2,5 MW, with cogeneration or biomethane conversion options.
Conversion of biogas into biomethane
The agriPure solution allows biogas to be transformed into biomethane using separation membranes, removing carbon dioxide and other impurities. The biomethane obtained can be injected into the gas network or used as fuel in the form of Bio-CNG or Bio-LNG. This purification process includes several pretreatment and compression stages before molecular separation.
Advanced treatment of digestate
For the management of digestate generated in biogas plants, agriKomp has developed agriFer Plus, an innovative system that reduces the volume of waste and converts nitrogen into a marketable ammonia solution, used in the chemical industry. This process combines evaporation and reverse osmosis, separating the material into different usable fractions, such as water, solid phase and NPK concentrate for fertilization.
Thanks to these solutions, agriKomp is driving the transition towards more sustainable energy production, optimising the efficiency of biogas plants and promoting the circular economy.
