The biogas and biomethane sector in Spain is currently experiencing its strongest period to date, with real business opportunities in the short and medium term. The 16th International Bioenergy Congress, organized by AVEBIOM in collaboration with AEBIG, will take place on October 3rd and 4th in Valladolid and will be the essential forum for professionals and investors, addressing all the technical, financial, and regulatory issues necessary to carry out their projects with maximum security.
Javier Díaz , president of AVEBIOM, says that “this edition of the congress will be crucial to unify vision among all and to promote, without further delay, the production of biomethane and advance in the decarbonization of thermal energy demand, which is double that of electricity, and thus increase Spain's energy independence.”
Francisco Repullo , president of AEBIG, adds that “the change in trend that we are experiencing in our sector is sustained by the enormous will of the actors involved, who have sufficient resources, technology and financing to launch their projects in the short term.”
The congress is organized into 4 round tables and 9 technical presentation tables, in which more than 60 speakers belonging to the entire spectrum of entities related to the success of an installation will participate.
Representatives of the highest level of promoting companies such as Prezero, Naturgy, Nedgia, Veolia, Acciona, Ence, Total Energies, Nortegas, Engie, Catalana del Biogás or Cycle 0, will explain what factors influence the successful installation of the plants and what supports and resources are available and where and how to access them.
It will be very interesting to learn first-hand about the experiences of plants that are already operating in our country and the proposals from leading technologists in the sector to make the most of the energy potential of renewable gases.
